How Paying for Care Works

Simple 3-step process designed for transparency and flexibility.

1

Free 15-Minute Consultation

Before any commitment, we jump on a call to hear your situation. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit, and point you in the right direction if we aren't.

2

Fee-for-Service Payments

You pay directly per visit using cash, Zelle, Venmo, credit card, or FSA/HSA funds. There are no surprise bills, no claim denials, and no visit caps dictated by an insurance company.

3

Superbills for Reimbursement

If you have a PPO plan, it may reimburse a substantial portion of out-of-network physical therapy once your deductible is met. We provide a detailed "Superbill" after each visit for you to easily submit to your insurance portal.

Find Out What Your Plan Actually Covers

Call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask these 5 questions:

Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient physical therapy?

What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much of it have I met this year?

Once the deductible is met, what percentage of the allowed amount do you reimburse?

Is there a visit limit or pre-authorization requirement?

How do I submit a Superbill, and how long does reimbursement take?

Why We Don't Take Insurance

The traditional in-network model forces clinics to see multiple patients per hour, often relying on aides or technicians to guide your exercises. Reimbursement pressure dictates your care. At Ascent, you get the full session, 1-on-1, every single time. Your goals decide the plan, not an insurance adjuster.

What A Session Includes

A full session with a Doctor of Physical Therapy—never an aide.

Hands-on manual therapy and corrective exercise dosed to your specific evaluation.

An individualized home program that progresses between visits.

Direct scheduling flexibility.
